Weekend in Aarhus

Aarhus has a special place in my heart after living and studying there back in 2013. I went back in 2014 but after another 3 years, I was back for a weekend. Although it is never going to be the same as the time spent in 2013 without all my other friends, it was still fantastic to catch up with my Danish friends that were still around.

The city has evolved as well – the new library Dokk1 is amazing and would have been a great spot to fit in some study and the food and dining scene has also grown. I went to numerous new restaurants and bars as well as the Aarhus Street Food with its many stalls offering numerous different cuisines.

I’ll always feel somewhat “at home” in Aarhus and I am always looking forward to coming back!
