Nearly five years to date, I was in St Gallen to visit Switzerland for the first time and to visit my Swiss friends.

The main purpose was to be back again to visit them. I flew into Zurich early on Saturday morning and had breakfast at Kafischnaps, then explored the city by foot.

At lunchtime, I took the train to St Gallen (around an hour and 15 mins east of Zurich) and went to Gnuss cafe to get their amazing lemon cheesecake whilst waiting for Ramon to finish up at school.

In the evening, Adina and Laurie came over and Ramon cooked a delicious lasagne whilst we drank prosecco, red wine and gin. Afterwards, we headed to Sud Bar for drinks and dancing – it was a lot of fun!

The next day, we went for a walk around St Gallen (so much snow!) and ended the night with a delicious home made cheese fondue.

I always enjoy visiting beautiful Switzerland and it was so nice to be back! Looking forward to going back in the summer time!
